After seeing the video posted by the @UofSC twitter handle of the students singing Sweet Carolina at midnight in front of the Thomas Cooper library, it got me thinking- it would be awesome if, at the pep rally, the university led the fans in a rendition of Sinatra's New York, New York

Everyone (should) know the words, and its an appropriate sendoff that transcends generations. Record that, go viral.

We do have a connection via Frank McGuire, and many of his best players, to NY NY. Not a big fan of the city myself but I am a big fan of the New York Gamecocks and what they did for our program back then.

Hey I have a question. Are the tickets for session 1 two-in-one or separate. If I was to buy a ticket from a Wisconsin or Florida fan outside the arena would it be void or not. How does it work? I appreciate the help.

There is 1 ticket for both games on Friday and they would not allow re-entry.

Says the person who has never stepped foot anywhere outside of Midtown Manhattan it appears. While it is expensive, I don't know a single person that pays anywhere close to $5k a month and never seen a $25 espresso. There are pockets of "hipsters" but there are also pockets of basically any other stereotype you could place on a group of people. Plenty of great spots in NYC, just have to know where to look.

But not to derail this thread. Hopefully the boys shine under the bright lights in MSG and keep this train rolling to Phoenix.

Didn't they play at MSG earlier this season? When they beat Syracuse?

Familiarity in this case might be a good thing. Let's take 2 and keep this train rolling.

We beat Syracuse at Barclays Center in Brooklyn and lost to Seton Hall at MSG. Having played 2 games in NYC this season will definitely help our team. Rah Felder also played at MSG in high school.
