check what Extensions chrome is running. There is probably something in there that will stick out to you as something you don't want. There's a little button next to the address bar/under the red X that closes chrome, then go to More Tools, extensions. You can google whatever extension it is, "how to remove XYZ", and somebody will have figured it out.

You can also try searching "add or remove programs" in the "ask me anything" bar that's in your task bar (next to the windows Icon in the bottom left by default). Go to Add or remove programs, sort by install date, and make sure there isn't anything suspicious that was installed recently.

I'm assuming this means you've at least attempted to try another browser to see if the issue happens there.

Seeing as AV/malware scans have found nothing and it only seems to happen in Chrome this is what I am thinking. There has to be a rogue Chrome extension installed.

Yes I used Internet Explorer just to see if it did the same thing. It didn't and I could just go with it, but I like chrome better.

Can I just factory reset my computer without the disc? It's getting to the point of where it restarts on its own and claims an error... I don't care if I lose everything

win 10 has a repair function that is almost like reformatting but not quite. It will return Windows to its original state without wiping the rest of your drive. Did the machine come with the OS installed? Do you have a recovery partition on your drive? Before doing anything copy down your product key if you do not have it already.

delete all chrome extensions you have, has to be it....

Uninstall Google Extension Using Customize and Control
Click the hamburger menu icon on the Google Chrome toolbar and then More tools.
Select More tools from the menu.
Select Extensions from the side menu.
Click the trash can icon link next to the extension you wish to remove.

If you decide to dump Chrome you could always use Edge instead of IE.

But I'm still thinking it's a rogue Chrome extension although now that you mention that your system is restarting on its own that makes me think there is something more serious wrong.

Adwcleaner is good for cleaning up your browsers. HitmanPro sometimes finds malware that Malwarebytes doesn't I've found. Good luck.

The repair function never worked, I tried, but kept getting an error on restart after hitting the function. I had to pull up a previously saved registry just to get on my pc.

Possibly a rootkit. Try the hitmanpro 30 day trial. You can also make a bootable USB flash drive to scan your PC before loading Windows.
https://www.hitmanpro.com/en-us/hmp.aspx

Super Antispyware is also a good cleaner. It will look for malicious addons before it starts the spyware scan. http://superantispyware.com/
