Hopefully the NCAA looks a the spirit of the law and not the letter of the law, as it relates to when Bowen can play. By the start of the next season, he will have gone a full year without playing ball. I think that's sufficient.

If he's not able to play here, I don't see the huge benefit of him just being able to practice with us. That, in and of itself, won't make us a tournament team.

Hope the NCAA doesn't c*ck block here.

That's a big IF. If he can stay healthy, If he gets cleared by the NCAA, If Frank finds another recruit who can help immediately. We don't need project players that take 2 years to become serviceable. I'm glad he's here but I'm not ready to say he's ushering in a new era it's on Frank to get good players here.

This kid was arguably the best player in his Class. He certainly put on a show at the McDonalds All American game. Think he had like 23 or 26 points. He is also a great passer and probably a better ball handler than 3/4's of our Guards.

No. He will be able to play starting at the beginning of next year, not Second Semester.

Frank will always have project players. The good news is that our five Freshman and Holden should be contributing more next year, and with Silva, Kotsar and Bowen, we would have a killer front line. Then add in Rah at PG to go with Gravett, and we have a complete team.
