Up "late" watching it this morning. The countryside looks beautiful. Fun watching this guy get some TV time and just taking off for an 8 minute lead he knows won't last.

Tomorrow's stage is supposed to be good.

So sucks that Sagan is out. One of my best friends is a pro level cyclist and he believes the call to disqualify is garbage. Says the elbow was used to prop himself up and that Cavendish was already falling.

Yeah, tough to tell, but to be that confident to disqualify the most popular rider in the sport is crazy.

I like watching it to see the country and the small towns they go through. Very nice scenery. Doping or not, it's still the hardest thing to accomplish in sports.

Totally blown away this morning. Was reading the reports on the tour and came across an article on Philippa York. If you've followed racing any your familiar with Robert Millar of Britain. He was a good one back in the mid 80's but has apparently decided to go a different way.
