Default 2019 - Giovanni Santiago

PG for 2019 class with a USC offer.

Watched his highlight...while he will need to bulk up a good bit, he is a very slick passer. Old school, distribution-type PG.

I watched some of his FIBA U18 games. His build reminds me of Brenton Williams or Jackie Gilloon from the McGuire days. He is a very good passer. I think that is what impressed me most about him.

Gilloon could not play under control. I remember his style as "frenetic."

That's been a long time ago, so I don't remember some of the details. Santiago usually looks pretty under control from what I've seen of him. Seems to be good at finding the open man and getting him the ball where he can catch it. Which is a fine trait in a PG.
